Protect your ISL Online account with two-factor authentication

Our latest release featuring two-factor authentication function is ISL Light 4.4 for iOS. You can download the remote desktop mobile app from the App Store.

Two-factor authentication for ISL Light iOS is automatically enabled once you turn on 2FA in your ISL Online account. You need to log in to your account and set up your verification method in the Security tab.

You will find detailed instructions with screenshots on how to set up two-factor authentication for your ISL Online account in my older blog post.

Here’s a quick recap:

Turn on 2FA on hosted service

Log in to your ISL Online account, go to Security tab and click 2-step verification.

Choose step-two verification method for your ISL Online account

Choose your verification method. I choose “Phone”.

Two-step login to your ISL Online account on the iPhone

Open the ISL Light app on your iPhone and log in. Since I have enabled the two-step verification mode, the ISL Online Network asks me to type in the code I have received, in my case via SMS.

If you followed my example, you have just added another security level to your ISL Online account. Congratulations 🙂

Now that you are logged in, you can connect to any computer, offer remote support and troubleshoot issues on the go from your iOS device.
