ISL Online leads  the remote desktop market share in Japan

Number 1 in Japan

ISL Online has been present on the Japanese market since 2007. In roughly ten years a well-coordinated team at ISL Online and OceanBridge have taken ISL Online software to the top of the Japanese remote desktop market. In April 2016 a renowned Japanese market research and consulting company, Seed Planning, Inc., published the results of their remote desktop market survey, where ISL Online came out as a definite winner in the on-premises market with a persuasive 44-percent share.

“We have been working hand-in-hand with ISL Online team since 2007. They offer trustworthy and powerful remote desktop tools used by important Japanese companies, such as Mitsubishi Chemical Systems and Citizen Watch,” emphasised Tomoyuki Inoue from OceanBridge.

“Being number one in such a technologically advanced country such as Japan, feels outstanding,” explains Jure Pompe, ISL Online’s CEO. “I am extremely proud of what our ISL Online – OceanBridge team has accomplished in Japan. Nevertheless, being the market leader in Japan, we recognise the huge responsibility to continue to offer businesses trustworthy and powerful tools in the future.”

Singtel operators offer remote support in a low bandwidth environment using ISL Online’s services

Singtel logoSingtel Satellite, Asia’s leading provider of customised satellite solutions for corporate customers headquartered in Singapore, uses ISL Online remote desktop software to provide reliable remote support in a low bandwidth environment.

“Most of our clients operate in satellite network where data transfer is a scarce and expensive commodity and run their business on a limited bandwidth data plan, which limits them to transfer no more than 250Mb per month,” points out Sunil Janardhanan, product developer and senior engineer at Singtel Satellite and continues: “That is why our aim was to find a remote desktop software working reliably in a low bandwidth environment, such as 64kbps.”

To ensure the best user experience, Singtel Satellite installed ISL Online’s remote access agents on computers running on-board ships. This way, Singtel’s technical support team can easily access remote computers at sea and troubleshoot devices on the vessels.
