Is ISL Pronto worth a try? Let’s consider possibilities of how its live chat as an add-on to your website can improve your customer related services. Also, did you know that it can serve as a nice addition to ISL Light’s remote desktop features? And a free one, too.
In a typical ISL Pronto scenario, a client visits your website, clicks on the Live Chat button, and is picked up by an operator from your end. The operator then transfers the chat to an appropriate person (either a support or a sales representative) who can lead the client to a desired conclusion. While supporting or making a sales pitch, you can use handy functions like file transfer, canned response – sort of self-made dictionary of optional replies, and operator-to-operator chats as a possible internal messaging solution. But not merely that.
ISL Pronto comes with a built-in ISL Light’s remote desktop support and presentation service. Once you set up ISL Pronto in your organization and open the application, ISL Light lies hidden behind the ‘Remote Desktop’ button in the upper toolbar. It is initiated by the operator with a click on this button, thus skipping user authentication and session code ping-pongs. When the client confirms to start a remote desktop session, a new ISL Light session pops up. Arguably, ISL Pronto appears as the easiest way to start a remote desktop support session. Plus it unveils some basic information of the client – name, email (optional), browser used, location, current webpage – which might prove useful during the support or your sales pitch.
The built-in ISL Light offers the same functionality as a stand-alone application: both-way desktop sharing, easy drag-and-drop file transfer, text chat, audio and video communication, and other. As I wrote a full product review in December, let me just paste you a link to the post for a clear picture of what ISL Light can do.
Anyway, it bears repeating that this extremely fast desktop sharing, also referred to as turbo desktop sharing ever since the 3.3 version, works both ways. It can be switched from the operator controlling the client’s desktop to the vice versa option during the same session. This opens up a possibility of performing both slick tech support while controlling the client’s desktop, as well as delivering a visual product presentation on your shared screen or an application to the client (or a prospect). Combined with the integrated audio and video, your support and sales services really get that much needed personal touch.
In the end, you will agree that it’s the relationship that makes your clients loyal. Why not let them contact you through the web anytime they need you? Again, ISL Pronto is free.

Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking
for something completely unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had
to ask!
We are using WordPress.
There is certainly a lot to find out about this issue. I love all of the points you’ve made.
